Daigaku Hideura

Daigaku Hideura is President and Chief Executive Officer of GeneDesign, Inc., the Osaka site of Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services. He began his career with Ajinomoto Co., Inc. in 1999 and brings more than 25 years of experience across the pharmaceutical industry, spanning process chemistry, business development, project management, corporate governance, and international operations. His experience across technical and business functions enables him to connect scientific expertise with commercial and organizational perspectives.

Since joining GeneDesign in 2023, Mr. Hideura has led the company’s business and organizational development, supporting the delivery of high-quality oligonucleotide development and manufacturing services to customers worldwide. Mr. Hideura holds a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, now the Institute of Science Tokyo.
